We used to have a lot of discussion about Spud's plan B (and C and D and E ) on here but there isn't so much focus on Terry's game plan. I don't see a whole lot of difference since Terry arrived. We still bomb to Richo, still turn it over at our forward 50, still kick to standing targets, still, despite recruiting for speed over strength, don't run and present properly and create options. We still stuff around in the backline, we still call out "kick the bloody thing" in frustration.
I reckon in just a few games Knighter has Essendon playing a different kind of footy and although they mightn't be winning they are still exciting to watch.
Can anyone tell me how our game plan has actually improved in the 4 years Terry's been there? I can't see it and I'd like to know what to watch out for to give me hope. It seems the same old, same old to me and it's depressing.
