Changes this week

If Jonno doesn't come up, Polo would be the idea replacement, Jonno has been playing more of a tagging/defensive role of late. With Polos most recent scalp being Buddy Franklin playing off a back flank, there is little doubt he is ready for a chance at senior level and would be well suited to a defensive role.

Remember Dean has exceptional agility, is 187cm and plays tall, and as far as his kicking goes, could it really be much worse than Jonno?
This would make perfect sense from a team balance perspective.

Forget about Krak being dropped, aint going to happen this week, and with rain forcast far more likely a tall like Staff would be dropped for a smaller forward like Jackson.

Other VFL players like Meyer or White really haven't got the form or the runs on the board to be pressing for selection.

My tips; Polo and Jackson in / Jonno and either Staff or Rodan out.

Jackson isn't that small. He will surprise opposition coaches with his height and strength.

If rain eventuates I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Meyer get a run just for his skills. Would think he'd be more likely to sneak under the bombers guard for a good cameo in the forward 50 than Jackson would as Jackson relies more on his marking to get hold of the ball.

We'll play two ruckman this week as Essendon are playing Hille and the young kid Ryder. We will look to use Knobel as a battering ram.

Im not sure whether Gas will come back in this week.... their forward line:
HF: Rioli, Lucas, Lovett
F: Monfries, Hille?, Hird

We match that pretty well:

HF: Rioli Lucas Lovett
HB: Kellaway Bowden Raines
F: Monfries Hille? Hird
B: Hartigan Hall Newman

However if we brought in Gas he could take a tall forward which would then release Joely to do what he does best across half back.... however i believe our backline has been really solid by creating good run and carry out of the backline....also their disposal looks alot better.

I would like to see Knobel come in so we can throw simmonds forward at times:

HF: Pettifer Richo Deledio/Tambling
F: Krakouer Staff Simmonds/Hughes

That is a potent set up and i think Sheedy and the bumbers would be shaking at the thought of it!
Also i would like to see Raines push into the middle a bit more like he did last week..... We can smash them in the middle and with Deledio, Raines, Tambling and Hyde...should have far too much pace aswell...... this game will be won in the middle...simple as that.

Krak will certainly play and JON is a big chance if fit. I'd also like to see Polo and Knobel come in.
Maybe JON, Polo and Knobel for Paddy, Roden and Stafford.

I would also like to see Danny Meyer in the side. His form maybe hasn't been as good as others but he seems to have that 'IDOL' star quality and the ability to do something out of the ordinary and may just need to be on a bigger stage for things to fall into place. ;D If Johnson or JON don't play I'd put him in although Jacko would be pretty stiff.

Rodan has to go,he's nothing more than a liability ATM.
Would hope JON gets a game when his form warrants a game as opposed to an AFL gimmick round of footy (although I am grateful for the indigenous contribution to the game) and also when fully fit whic would seem doubtful.
Krakouer would be extremely fortunate as well, but disturbingly the 'burgs best are often not RFC listed players, which hardly keeps underachievers like him under the pressure they deserve to be. :help

If JON gets in, not that I don't think he will be a good player in the future, Polo could feel aggrieved, he had to bust his clacker and wait an entire season to crack it for a senior game and JON gets in without even completing a pre season.
