In order to lessen some of the demands PRE makes on our hosts server a few changes have been made. They mainly affect "Guests" ie those who are not registered or logged in. It's not in order to prejudice against anyone and registering and logging in will result in the features still being available.

We'll see how things go. We've tried to lessen the load while still giving guests access to read the forums. Another other option was to go the way some sites have recently and have them completely members only so that only online people can read the forums.

- See smilies, although the code is still there
- See avatars or other 'information' that uses those little icons displayed about posters (on the left of all messages). They can see username and the textual version of status, but no images ie 'stars'.
- Search the forum
- See online, gender etc options
- Search the memberlist
- View the forum stats
- Access the Feedback and Test boards
- View the calendar
