Blight was a super coach...forget the StKilda circus....the man was a freak.

Indeed. We need the sort of pre 97 crow clean out down here at punt road. He was a coach that could win games by his changes within a game. The move to put Shane Ellen up forward in the 97 GF was pure genius.

Yeah i remeber when he got to the club and got rid of McDermott, Jarman, McGuiness and Anderson...all who were massive in Adelaide and real icons of the club. Supporters went feral. Turns out it was the best thing the couldve happened. You could imagine Blight coming in and sacking Richo, Bowden, Johnson....geez he had balls but also had the record to back it all up! Freak.

Certainly would mark a new era at tigerland. The day Blighty labeled David Pittmans (a pretty decent ruck) performance pathetic at the press conference was genius. Pittman never played better after that.
