Changes vs Bombers

Incredible to think that team thrashed the pants of West Coast. I am concerned how well we will match up on Lloyd and Lucas, and the possibility of Hille resting forward.

Moore will take on Lloyd and beat him I reckon. Schulz might be a good matchup on Lucas as he's not that quick.

Why change a winning formula? ;)

Exactly. Thought those who reckon Connors shoud be dropped were a bit harsh.

One minute some people are bagging the club for not developing the young guys and the next minute some are calling for a guy like Connors to be dropped after what by all accounts was a pretty reasonable first up effort.

Good stuff by the club to stick with a winning formula. Anyone from last week would have been extremely unlucky to get dropped.

Fair enough selection process.

Could have made some changes but didn't it is getting harder to get a spot.

Colllins must be pulling his hair out. Same with Rance.

Collins has injured his shoulder according to the Rawlings report.

Big picture. As much as I want to see Richo get some well-deserved reward, it's time we saw what this time will do without him.

We are a much better side with Richo in the team, especially against Essendon.

We know what the others can do without him and will certainly find out more when Richo moves on. But if Richo is fit he'll slide right back in. Regardless the new role Richo is playing allows us to develop our forward line and play Richo.

There is also a little factor of him getting to 300 games..

Well, maybe he is not fit,is he named in the seconds.?

IMHO Rance is not quite ready yet, still a few weeks away, then he will be in the side for a few weeks, just for a taste of AFL footy.
He will then realise what he must do over the pre-season to adjust his body to be able to withstand the rigours of AFL footy. Next year we will have a better indication of how Alex will cope with the bigtime.

settle pettle, no ones saying he isnt any of that

Would love Rance to get a guernsey soon. This would of a been a good opportunity as any.

re: Thursty's non inclusion, without knowing all the facts who knows why he was left out? could a number of reasons unbeknown to us.

Richo was always a long shot for the Brownlow anyways. Would of been a fairytale but movin on...

cant wait for saturday apparently an indigenous junior team vs someone else is the curtain raiser, anyone know who it is?

Good to see Steamer is keeping Richo out of the side.

Richo will probably have to bide his time and kick a few bags in the magoos before he unseats the great man.

I think daisy mentioned he's missed 6 weeks.
Wil looked a bit tired before the injury, a lighter run at the lower levels won't do him that much harm.
He will be back in soon enough.

yeah I agree. the guy has only played 33 games and after missing 6 weeks, it's right for him to return through Coburg IMO.

It's a shame that Richo isn't right because he does usually play well against them, but it will be good to get another look at our future post Richo.
