I didn't see Aaron Edwards on the injury list...who was on crutches after the game.
Vickery won't get up, already had a concussion issue plus it's a 6 day break....no chance.
King 50/50, Petterd injured, Arnot injured, Grimes isn't ready.
We'll be fielding our worst team of the year this round...against the team sitting 1st

We played Hawthorn at the perfect time last year they were struggling a bit and only just inside the 8.
After that game they only lost 2 of 16 games......Geelong and the Grand final.
Quality teams don't lose to middle tier teams this time of year, hope we keep the score close.

There is no reason why we cannot put two ruckmen in the team as Hawthorn set up.
They go with Hale off the bench and into ruck or forward as required.
We can go the same with Stephenson on the bench and McBean forward.
Simply means Newman or Vlastuin out, Houli starts and Stephenson takes the bench spot.

Derrickx is finished. No good I'm afraid. Like I said Big O and Maric is not ideal but Maric seems to be on one leg atm. Also I can't see how we're going to get enough goals with Reiwoldt the only big man in the forward line. If we try and open the game right up for smalls to bag the goals, Hawks will kill us as their disposal skills are supreme. Just shows how a fit and firing Vickery is for us. We have no forward line depth.

If King is fit (which would be unlikely), he could come in instead of McDonough. Alternatively and on lack of form, Newman should make way if an extra spot is needed.

Yeah Stephenson should do the majority of the ruck and play behind the ball while Maric plays as a key forward and takes the fwd line taps
Chaplin Rance Astbury on Roughy Buddy & Gunston
We should use McGuane to assist Riewoldt and stretch the hawks tall back men
S Edwards can be the small fwd
Ellis can be the small running Backman and white and foley can change as rover
