OK everyone just off the grapevine from Tassie.
Edwards is there.
Rance is there.
Polo has been left in Melbourne.

Cheers, so Polo was not there eh?

Wonder what Wallet is up to? :P

I guess we will find out tommorow.

Nah....no way!
Wallace will bring back Pettrified or Tivaturnover...just to maintain the dud count.

Don't know if we will see Tiva again. Apparently he has taken some time off to think about his future.

Whoa! Annual leave midseason. Lucky Tivva.

A shame he won't get his 200, but papers are stamped. Assuming season is dead by 22, don't mind him getting a farewell, he has done a lot more than many for the club.

good on cleve for his effort yesterday. he is bashing down the door demanding he get selected and lets face it if wallace is serious he should have included both jack and cleve for the dees.

it puzzling that we seem the only team in the competition that only plays one key position forward.

if it were up to me i would have cleve playing out of the square, jack roaming chf and richo resting in the forward line for 10 mins a quarter giving both of them 5 min rests

anyway the point is that wallace has got no idea and cleve is shoving it up his arse

On AFL game day there are 22 players listed.
Included in that list is Polo. Not on the list is Sarge.

I dont traditionally look at AFL.com pre game so is this the norm for them to get team lists wrong (along with everything else) or does this mean Polo is in?

Normally they're on the money.

No sign of Polo.

Agreed skip. Most pleasing is that he's had two games in a row. Depending on how some go today he should earn a recall.
Polak particularly & Schulz are skating on thin ice.

True Oldie. But why has it taken him nearly 3 months to find some kind of form.

Who knows?
Poor confidence? Expecting it all to happen?
Only Cleve knows that answer.

I hope he can put it together because we are screaming out for another tall forward and there is a position waiting if he wants it badly enough.

At this stage I doubt Davey will play for Melbourne.

That's a fairly big out as far as I'm concerned, if that does, in fact, occur.

It will be interesting to see if the weeks events at Melbourne 'lift' the players at all.

As a general rule, Melbourne are awful at the Dome, so I'm not really sure how this game will pan out.

I thought most of his work was done in the first quarter (most goals were kicked and one was a handball received in the goalsquare) and then faded after that.

Two schools of thought:

1. Did enough early was dominant and set up the win

2. Rested on his laurels after getting a bit of it early (and the opposition backs tightened up)

I thought Jack was far more imposing on the day, wonder if redmond agrees?

Didn't see the game yesterday so not sure if he had a more even 4 qtr effort, but agree 2 bags in two weeks desrves a call up.

Tigers don't have a good record there either!!

Tigers expected to win this one this is more of a test for us than Crows Swans etc can't just fall over the line either must win by a decent margin to prove anything. Any news on Richo will he play?
