Geez.Cleave finally plays a good game and he,s shoving it up Wallace,s arse.Comical

a bit tough on the steamer skipper

last year after kicking 3 goals against the reigning premiers he was dropped, this season he was dropped after round 2 or 3 then ent back to the burgers and kicked a couple of big bags and was unlucky not to get a recall and last week played very well and was overlooked. its a credit to him that he went out yesterday and kicked another big bag in what was nearly a BOG matchwinning performance from all reports. so i reckon he is shoving it up wallaces arse a little because he has been treated very shabbily in his time with us imo

Disagree Lids.
He was played in the first two games but dropped due to his poor defensive pressure up forward.
Finally since he was omitted he's showing some form again.
Don't think he has been shabbily treated at all.

i agree to some extent but we are screaming out for tall forwards, this guy has all the tools has done some good work in the last 2 months and should be rewarded

So did Rance play in at Coburg. I dont believe he did. Might be a late change, well here's hoping.

Wallace has played ducks & drakes(and geese) a few times this year . Wouldn't surprise.

Geese :cutelaugh

It woul seem unusual to not play him at Coburg when he was close to if not BOG the week before and not play him in the 1s either. Rance could have been th difference between Coburg winning or losing in Tassie yesterday.

One trick pony every time I've seen him. Lead, mark and kick. If it's not spoon fed on the tit he is a total liability. Looks o.k. when force fed at Coburg and easy to kick a few when they are dominating but a long way off it at the moment.
Think of a very poor mans Hymie Lloyd in a *smile* side.
Wasn't at the game yesterday but would like to hear from Mello or someone who was at the game as to exactly how he played for the entire match.

His job is to kick goals. If he's quick, can lead, and is a reliably long shot for goal then he has the goods to be a strong player in the future. From what I saw when he played his first couple of senior games, he seemed to be very good on the ground once it hit the turf. He seems to have lost a bit of that in later appearances but I know he can do it so needs to perservere with at this stage. However am a bit disappointd he hasnt kicked on a bit better thus far, but still young ad wouldn't be unhappy for him at this stage to continue learning his caper in the magoos with maybe a shot at more senior appearance later in the year. I think he has been a little inconsistent and needs to string a few games together.

Tigers expected to win this one this is more of a test for us than Crows Swans etc can't just fall over the line either must win by a decent margin to prove anything. Any news on Richo will he play?

Haven't heard any news on Richo, but would not be surprised if he is rested because of the knee.

The guy can't keep playing we a bad knee. Keep pushing it is only going to make it worse. he'll end up a month out of the game.

I've asked this before but haven't received an answer, does anyone know who is on our match committee? I assume its not just Wallace picking the side.
Royal,King,McCrae,Miller?

hmm we have pattison hughes schulz richardson polak riewoldt you could even throw mguane in there.
it seems to me we have about the right number of tall forwards. what we have is a quality problem. theres only one who shows he has the goods.

anyway lids im all for playing him he could be no worse than pattison polak and schulz up forward.
it seems the majority of our talls are on a revolving door similar to the hyde/ tivendale door that spins at 100 miles an hour.
