Shers said:Agree completely with Taraba. Just before 3 quarter time, Connors squibed it big time, didn't go for the mark, and copped it big time from the Demons players, and deservedly so. I thought he was a bit of a tough player, but that one act showed otherwise. Glad he was dropped, and hope he learns from it.
Didn't look overly fit either, and could do with a few weeks busting his arse on the track and with Coburg.
For those saying Tambling could do with another week at Coburg, 1. didn't see Tambling blitz at Coburg last Saturday vs the dud Tenace, and 2. didn't see Richmond vs Melbourne live, where half of our team deserved to be dropped.
Two points: I've noticed several times mentioned, Connor's didn't look fit on Sunday. If he didn't look fit the previous week against Frankston how the hell was he called for the match with the Demons. And please, dont start with match up's or needs of the team.
As for Tambling, I'm starting to get confused with the management of this player. On one hand, RFC are OK with the decision to drop this player - Was it to gain some form? The fact he is being recalled after one week, typifies the meaning of consistancy and form at RFC. Or are the RFC mindful he his Aboriginal and sensitive.
