Changes vs North

Agree completely with Taraba. Just before 3 quarter time, Connors squibed it big time, didn't go for the mark, and copped it big time from the Demons players, and deservedly so. I thought he was a bit of a tough player, but that one act showed otherwise. Glad he was dropped, and hope he learns from it.
Didn't look overly fit either, and could do with a few weeks busting his arse on the track and with Coburg.
For those saying Tambling could do with another week at Coburg, 1. didn't see Tambling blitz at Coburg last Saturday vs the dud Tenace, and 2. didn't see Richmond vs Melbourne live, where half of our team deserved to be dropped.

Two points: I've noticed several times mentioned, Connor's didn't look fit on Sunday. If he didn't look fit the previous week against Frankston how the hell was he called for the match with the Demons. And please, dont start with match up's or needs of the team.
As for Tambling, I'm starting to get confused with the management of this player. On one hand, RFC are OK with the decision to drop this player - Was it to gain some form? The fact he is being recalled after one week, typifies the meaning of consistancy and form at RFC. Or are the RFC mindful he his Aboriginal and sensitive.

Next Year:

Players to keep and build around: Cotchin, Moore, Foley, Riewoldt, Morton, Deliedo, White, Vickery and Newman.

Players to try for another year with potential to be around for while: Rance, Polo, Post, Tambling, Thursfield, Raines, Mc Guane and Nahas

Players to keep just because they are who they are: Richo,Cousins and Coughlan (Only if pulls up well this year)

Tradeable players: Hughes, Edwards, Pattison, *smile*, JON and Tuck

Must Delist if can't trade: Pettifer, Bowden, Mc Mahon, King, Jackson, Oakley-Nich, Brown, Simmonds, *smile* and Edwards.

Very harsh on Rance....the guy has been the only shining light of a miserable season yet u r happy to build a team around Newman (a skipper who is struggling for form).

Also would not trade Highes, Edwards, Pattison, Schulz and JON as, strangely enough, u would not get any takers. It is either make a impression in the next 17 rounds or delist...that simple.

Yes obviously Rance is going to be around for while and I like his endeavour but disposal bit of worry, will be aprt of future though. The only reason Newman make sthe must keep is that he will be captain!!! Naturally I am not expecting many takers for our tradeables but you gotta have a go. Hughes or Pattison might be picked up espec maybe Hughes maybe by dogs. I will put this out there who is the best player we are willing to trade to get a high draft pick this year????

Aah, very good question.

Myself, I would offer up Foley and Richie. Fans of both but if we could land a KPP would be worth it.

Agree that half our team deserved to be dropped from the Melbourne game, however I thought Edwards was consistently better than Tambling for the whole Coburg game last week. Schulz dominated also and he didnt get recalled in place of Browny or another underperforming forward... I dont begrudge Ritchie getting a recall, just a bit inconsistent from the selection committee, but that's what we have come to expect I guess. JON didnt deserve a recall either IMO.
