why was the brisbane v collingwood game on a 1 hour delay? absolute joke. all games played interstate on FTA must be live. whats worse is that i heard last nights episode of "better homes and gardens" was a repeat. and i should add that the adelaide v st kilda game 2 weeks go was also a delayed telecast.

a lot of people were critical of ch 9's friday night coverage, and i was one of them. but they always showed interstate games in friday night live... thet just ensured the game started at 8:30 melbourne time.
 
100% agree.
What annoys me even more this week is the Sunday arvo game not being shown live.
Not that it ever is anyway.
Yet they have the arrogance to advertise it a the 'BIG must win game' for the Tiges- on at 3pm!!!???

At least channel 10 (1) show both saturday games live.
 
I notice tomorrow's game in Melbourne starts at 3pm and finishs at 6pm. This indicates that Channel 7 will show the entire game into Melbourne just on a delayed basis.

For us in Brisbane, the game also starts at 3pm but, to ensure that we can get to see an unmissable episode of Paul Mecurio's cooking show and channel 7's local wank show The Great South East, the game finishes at 5pm. They will probably show a first half highlights package before joining the live coverage at half time and seeing the second half live.

Channel 7 are making a mockery of AFL coverage (for which they've paid a mint) and I'm going to choose to wait and watch the entire replay on Foxtel at 7:30. Channel 7 can get stuffed.

I'm actually ok with that option i.e. listen to the first half on the radio and then watch the second half live.

I just hope they don't show 4 QTR's of highlights stuffed with a shartload of ads.

If we win, I'll watch the first half later on Foxtel, and if we lose, I may not have a functioning telly to watch anything.
