Agree with Hird's article wholeheartedly. Bucks will command respect. Experience will look after itself. We all have to start somewhere.

i loved Hird's article today, but the question needs to be asked... if coaching the RFC such a tempting gig, why not apply himself?

He was asked that and said he was happy with what we was doing at the moment.

Poor effort by Hird. :thumbdown
Chose to answer mainly soft questions mainly on Bucks.

Some of Hirdy's replies;

- i like Nathan as the coach. He is a tough competitor, who will not allow himself to fail or be destroyed by the culture.

- It is hard to say where the coaching jobs will fall, but i think Richmond is a very good chance

- Nathan strikes me as someone who has a positive outlook on life and will be looking at the positives not the negatives.

- Bucks in my opinion has been preparing his whole life to be a coach.

- i do believe that there is room at Richmond for Richo and Cousins. Ben has shown some real form of late and in my opinion was always going to be better in 2010 than he was in 2009.

- Sumich would be a chance but i am not sure he has applied

- Jade has done a very good job to date. He has the Tigers playing a confident brand of football and with a bit of luck could have beaten the blues on Saturday. I don't think he is the favorite but you never know what can happen if he does well in the next 7 weeks

- I certainly see Nathan as strong and open to learning and evolving as a person. Those who know him well regard him as a very good listner and someone who is constantly looking to get better as a person.

- I don't think loyalty plays as big a role in coaching as when you are a player. There is always plenty of romance in a player coaching his old club but it happens very rarely. It is even less likely that this will lead to success.

Mine was the first question - Where do you think Buckley will end up in 2010. He just sat on the fence.

A. - It is hard to say where the coaching jobs will fall, but i think Richmond is a very good chance

:P

I posted a few more that were way better questions than that and they go ahead and publish the crap one. ???

Yeah my questions were way better than the crap he answered

'Jimmy any chance of you as an assistant, part time or full time, under Bucks at the RFC?'

'Just heard that Sheeds isn't out of the running for the RFC job. Jimmy you aren't pumping up Bucks to divert attention while Sheeds pulls a swifty?'

'Have you told Buck how much you love him?'

'You should write a book, 'Bucks, Me and the RFC'
