Chimp, Cogs & Cuz...any word?

Spot on - when they start the sideways crap they stop running and presenting. The ball carrier does not have options and a turnover follows. It is almost like they are having a rest

Maybe they are having a rest..

Our fitness is definately a concern in comparison to other teams.

Guys Cogs got the 41 touchs in a Practice Match, it wasn't a proper VFL match as such.

To be fare you can't promote a guy off the back of one good performance in a praccy match. If it was a season proper game then he preobably would have played.

If reports are correct and he didn't play that well last week, then what does it say about the coaching panel????? maybe they made the correct call in not playing Cogs????

We go sideways because we get put under pressure and we stop presenting upfield. We go sideways because of the lack of options upfield.

Anyone privy to the latest with these 3? (Be great to have all 3 available and SOON).

Terry said on EOTT From an injury point of view, it will be good to get back players such as Cotchin, Cousins, Raines, Pattison, and Connors – who all should be available for senior selection in the coming weeks.

Notice anyone missing? :(

Coughlan wasn't injured at that point was he?

Dunno BCL. The comment was only published yesterday. Mark was in a similar situation to Connors, who was mentioned, imo. Both coming back from injury and preparing to return. Connors is playing this week.

And we are still crap.

Says something doesn't it.

Agreed but Coughlan Cotchin Raines & Cousins getting into the side will make the side look so much better along with Collins & Connors who both use the footy well not forgetting Thomson to add some more toughness!! I think Jackson Bowden even Hislop & McMahon will be looking over their shoulders when these guys are fit.

Don't understand why people are panicking over Coggy not getting a senior game yet.
He's been out for two years with a double knee and hammy problems.
He played one blinder in a magoos practice match and an average game in the first real magoos game.
How about people let Coggy just get himself a little bit match hardened and show some genuine form at Coburg before looking to slot him back into the pace and power of AFL footy.
Cuz missed less footy then Coggy has and his first senior game was mediocre before his hammy carked it. Something I'm sure no one wants to see happening to Coggy if we jam him back into the seniors just because we need someone to save us.

Agree TM. I'm more concerned with Mark's future than the immediate present. Play him when he's ready. I had reasons to be pretty confident he'd be playing this week though. If it's for the right reasons another game or two at Coburg won't matter. I am hanging out for him coming back though. At least it will be another player we know will give 100% out there.

Exactly. People seem to think there's some vendetta against Coughlan. Far from it, everyone from supporter to bootlacer is excited to see Coughlan returning to full fitness and form. He will be in the Tiger lineup within the next few weeks without doubt. Let's not rush it, get some time into those legs.
