Years of the Tiger and RFC ladder position (noting finals was a final 4 for most of the earlier years) :
1926 - 7th
1938 - 6th
1950 - 6th
1962 - 8th (though we did win the consolation night series for the duds that missed the finals)
1974 - premiers
1986 - 10th
1998 - 9th
2010 - 15th
So we have made the finals once out of all years of the tiger. Not a good omen for the year ahead. Good news is, when we make finals in year of the tiger, we win the cup (albeit once!!)

Lunar New Year 2022 Marks the Year of the Tiger
Richmond will this year join billions around the world in marking the Lunar Year of the Tiger.
By my count, that makes us certainties to win the flag in 2034. Hoping I might be entitled to an old fart discount n win it this year, bloke might not live long enough to achieve a flag in the fifth YOT bracket.

Fans in Cincinnati are ecstatic over their win against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. The team's victory coincides with the Lunar New Year and a cleansing of bad history.
