Are you saying then that you can win a flag with a team with ordinary skill?
all teams have players with ordinary skill its a balance ive often asked how many poor kicks can a side carry i would still like an answer to that one.

wce won a premiership despite having a lot of blokes who couldnt kick or you can look at it they lost a premiership because of to many poor kicks.

for a side that dominated possesion in two gfs an overall well skilled side would have won both by 10 goals. a poorly skilled side nearly walked away with nothing despite many other very good attributes.

They won it though. End of story.

I would take the premiership if it was won by having 22 Mat Whites in the team!

That's focusing on just 2 games though. With this team of too many underskilled players, West Coast went on a run of 7th, 7th, 2nd, 1st & 3rd in the regular seasons and won a good number of finals. What I wouldn't give to see the Tiges go on a run like that.

He was better last night. He will also always find the ball. No problem there.

But the same issues restrict his impact on games.

i.e Only 63% of his possessions were effective, & also not hurting teams by foot by only having 7 kicks.

Seems to be a bit of a trend these days that extractors are handballing far more than kicking. Perhaps teams are figuring out that this is the way blokes like this can really hurt oppositions - by giving their good users quality possessions in damaging spots.

Only 70% TOG aswell.

63% eff is not bad for an inside midfielder.

Best game for the club.

He did get a lot of it, but still felt he didn't do much with it. Kicking lacks penetration pure and simple. He will cope with delivering the ball to an open forward line, but when things are congested, you wouldn't want him kicking it to you.

The conditions were appalling, would of thought most had low effeciency ratings.

(Although I'm too lazy to actually check).

The 2nd lowest for his team.
