Leysy's firmly of the belief that time will show West Coast made a pretty significant error drafting him at No 3.
Sure he will accumulate possessions & arch out a decent career games wise. But what impact will he have on games??
OLG he is VERY scrappy by foot, doesn't have great depth in his kicking & wont bring any great qualities to the table that a team should get for that pick.
Leysy would be very dissappointed if Francis used that selection on a player with his kicking deficiencies. The player & our recruiters would be lambasted on here if we did. Make the Tambling thread look like school church reading.
Plenty will go past him in time from that draft. Reckon the much heralded Eagles recruiting team made the easy choice & will rue a very important decision.
