That's my worry. That he'll get to the 250 and then ask for another year. I don't know what his argument could be this time. I can understand him wanting the final and even the 250, although I do think it's putting a personal milestone ahead of the team objective, but I can't see what rationale he can give the club for wanting to around another year, especially given his form, or lack thereof, this year.Ian4 said:While he shouldn't be in the 22, I'll accept it if the club gets him to 250 games as long as he retires... problem is, I said a similar thing this time last year (I'll accept he plays in the finals as long as he retires).

I think it kind of depends on who we have to lose to keep Chris and Jake in the team. I really don't think Jake will be extended. He can't play the games he required for automatic extension so unlikely they'll do that. Chris is still a toss up, but he really should be told at the end of the season that he has a choice: he can either retire, or he'll be delisted.UKTiger said:Chris has publically said he wants to continue next season and as Dimma rates him as a valued team member then I think the odds are he will continue as will Jake. Dimma has his blind spots with some players and he will keep them at the detriment of getting a couple of youngsters with talent. Maybe I am a pessimist but mark my words
