Scott's presser was impressive for the kudos he gave RFC as a team, a club and an organisation.
But I guess he had nowhere to go after losing to the best team of the past four years.
To have stated that Richmond weren't/aren't in the same mould as Collingwood and St Kilda of 2009/2010 was just appalling and very disrespectful.
He has begrudgingly come to understand that Richmond is a great team and for to keep denying it would have only made him look more foolish and desperate.
Good on him for paying the compliments after losing the grand final (which would be a very difficult gig indeed) but he had already laid the foundation for people thinking poorly of him and his attitude to a superior team.
