Can you think of a new color? Can you imagine a new sound? Can you imagine what lies at the edge of the Universe? Do you believe in God? Most of todays science exists for tomorrows scientists to disprove. Some things require a little faith.

NO
If so, you have an amazing mind. Perhaps you should spend some more time exploring your gifts? And why not share them with us.

WOW.

This thread is still going strong, have read a majority of it and would like to commend Jayfox on his stance and education on the subject of Christianity despite anyones beliefs.

I haven't gotten into the "debate" because my opinion is being a christian is following your own walk with the Lord and not defend outside critics, just persue your own relationship with God.

My past and where I have come from to what I am now is proof that God exists.

I was a strong atheist, in fact like many of you on this thread I sought "facts" on how God wasn't real, but then actually showed my church going younger sister all the time and told her to not waste her time, and the people that wrote the bible have ancestors laughing all the way to the bank. This was from the age of 13 till recently.

Over the course of that, even though I didnt beleive I always thought of the "facts" I discovered and thought well they are not really facts more theories on reasons why god didn't exist.

I led a good life - a great life actually, so I thought, was really popular around my area, had a high paying job for a 21 year old, a beautiful girlfriend, all the friends and possessions you could have to be happy but through it all I always felt a sense of emptiness. The common phrase that was said to me was "I wish I had your life" - all this as an atheist imagine that, my own life was testimony God didnt exist, and I kept believing that!

Funny how it all turns out even better when you have a relationship with God.

I wont give my testimony of how I changed and repented my sins and have given my life to The Lord, its my private story and one helping kids with problems around my community, all I will say is that I have never felt so complete, so fulfilled and felt like I had a purpose. People still say nice things about my life because they see the change in me.

I know my God is real, I do have a relationship with him and he does talk to me and guides me in everything I do, and for that I could not be any happier. So much so that I have ambitions to go into ministry and become a Pastor. Imagine that, From atheist to Pastor - and alot of stops on the way! Proof that God exists - a miracle in itself.

Again dont really want to get into the debate - I respect everyones position in life and dont feel a need to defend my Lord Jesus Christ, but again would like to extend gratitude to Jayfox for fighting a battle going over 100 pages pretty much by himself and to Jayfox - the Lord is with you in this brother. ;D

Oh well thats my 2 cents.

PS. I would suggest all Christians and non Christians get a copy of a DVD that is very quite interesting. It's called "The Search for the real Mt.Sinai", absolutely outstanding documentary. Very hard to get a copy of it though, I wonder why ::)

Outstanding post, Tigerbob. I totally understand and experience the wholeness and fulfillment that you feel and know that it can only come from God. Thanks for your post and your support. There are a lot of people on this thread who are searching for something but don't know yet that it is a relationship with God that they are missing. Your single post has explained what a relationship woth God can do for your life far better than my 100 pages of discussion previous. Thanks again.

They might be looking for something, but it's not necessarily God. For you and Tbob it was, which is great that you found what you were looking for, but it won't apply to everyone.

Sounds a bit patronising Jay!

Hmmm. I note this constant reference to being able to talk to your God as being very important. Well my little ones, at the Church of Redfordology we have this covered.

As a fully paid up Redfordologist you can talk to your God (i.e. Me) at any time…24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply call 1800 Redfordondemand and you will be prompted for your Redfordology membership number and PIN. Once that has been confirmed and accepted you will have a choice of over 73 pre-recorded teachings. Everything from how to deal with rude bottle shop assistants to teaching your partner how she can better cook your schnitzel parmiaganas. Its all there.

Of course it doesn’t end there as far as accessing your God (i.e. Me) goes. If you are seeking one on one, face to face counseling, then a limited amount of 10 minute sessions are available for the minor sum of $3,000 per session. Bear in mind however, that on account of their popularity, these need to be booked at least 12 weeks in advance and must be paid for in either cash or Crown Casino chips.

“Redford is in the air
Everywhere I look around
Redford is in the air
In every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But He’s something that I must believe in

Redford is in the air
Redford is in the air
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh”

C'mon ! Sing it with me everyone !

I know what I am missing seeing RFC win a game this season, if you have a direct line how about asking for a few wins on behalf of the rest of us agnostics!
