Not going to Molineux TC? it's only a little further North from Birmingham!

We went past Wolverhampton on the way to Walsall the other night NYT

I didn't even get to White Hart Lane whilst I was in London

We may get a look at St James Park next week, won't be bringing any black and white home

though

There were lots of Let it Be album cover posters in London man and heaps of memorobilia

I got my box of fireworks

May get to let a few off tonight after the Haloween party

Great Halloween party >:D >:D >:D

We have another one on Sunday opposite a church with a very old graveyard

Fireworks were fantastic too, we are going to try and find some more today

Will try and get over the Welsh border too so the kids can see the road signs

all written in a weird language, oh yes and the sheep

Funny thing is I'm looking forward to Saturdays and the Premier League like I would AFL

When the season is on back home

Sounds like you're suffering from PFSS (Post Footy Season Syndrome) TC.
Some of us had a fix recently with the International Series ;D
Happy Halloween :smiledevil, make sure you're not too close to the graveyard at the witching hour. :help

It's got some lovely headstones from 1700s Andy, I'll be in there at midnight for sure

We have just let off our third box of fireworks, there was a 2 for 1 deal at Tesco

So we got 2 more £30 packs

Woo Hoo :clap :clap :clap

I imagine I'll be getting a few more before the week is out

We just came back from Wales and as you approach most towns there are fireworks going off everywhere

And bonfire night is a week away yet!!

I baracked for Spurs since 1967 Andy, they have had as lean a trot as the Tigers in recent years

At the moment they are 3rd in the Premiership with most of their Hard games behind them

I'll certainly be keeping a closer eye on the Soccer when we get back

Followed the Spurs myself!

There was a question on the Biology exam today about the Hobbits they discovered in Indonesia!

Main city in Richmondshire?

Steer clear of anyone muttering "precious" won't you?

It be Richmond Andy http://www.richmond.org.uk/mnpge.html

A much prettier town than ours

We brought our own Gollum with us

As you know, Jacob is obcessed with rocks and jewels

When he saw The Queen's collection in the Lower of London he went a bit odd

And hasn't been the same since >:D

:rotfl
Hope they frisked Jacob on the way out!

Richmond looks really pretty TC.
It's Cup Day here and 31C is the expected top temp :wave

It has been extremely mild here Andy, we have managed to avoid the rain

And have had a couple of days around 22C which is amazing for autumn

What has surprised me is the amount of flowers still in bloom

All the little old Tudor villages have huge plant pots hanging everywhere

And they add so much colour

Most of the trees have started losing their leaves, but few are bare

The bracken undergrowth in Scotland went brown before everywhere else

The Autumn colours in these villages are wonderful to see

It will be interesting to see how much the Northern towns have changed

In the 2 weeks we have been travelling

Wow TC, it sounds absolutely magical over there right now. Where do you go from here?? Are you heading back to London at all? Vital Information are playing at Ronnie Scotts on the 21st. 8) >:D

No Crystal, not going back to London :'(

We are in North Yorkshire now, going to Northumbria on the weekend for Bonfire Night

Then back to Australia via Manchester

Sounds really great TC, just like pictures you have in your mind of the Old Dart......but perhaps with a bit of rain.
Another hot night and hot day here, I feel sorry for the kids doing their VCE :'(, am off to supervise Maths.

I was in a graveyard in my PRE tee with a devil's mask at halloween Crystal

Stay tuned, I really must get to Richmond Castle this week too

Keep those kids on the level Andy, no cheating on your watch

I'll show you my pictures from Hadrian's wall, no wonder the Roman's went no further

It is really remote and the weather is usually terrible

My poor daughter's calculator broke down in the exam today. She changed the batteries but the graphs and things still wouldn't work. :'(

TC will you send me over some cold weather please....It's been sufficatingly hot and humid here the last couple of days. I can't cope.

Say hi to topaz and the kids for me. :hearton

The weather here is unseasonably warm here too Rosy, we are sweltering in these big old

brick houses

We are in Wensleydale at the moment and I have just come home with a load of local cheese

Wallace and Gromitt would be proud, I also got some odd shaped rissoles called Ducks rolls

Not a bit of duck in them, mainly pork and chicken livers

Sposed to be nice fried for breaky

There are loads of pheasants down these country roads, we nearly got hit by a flock of them

It prompted me into the old tongue twister

" I'm not a pheasant plucker, I'm the pheasant plucker's son "

I soon got in trouble :scold

Mmmmm cheese!

That was bad luck Rosy! We had a couple of late ones today 'cause the storm stopped the trains running. The VCAA made allowances though.
Cool change has arrived ;D
