PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

With what I'm about to write I really don't want to put the jinx on the club in any way, but a reverse trend against the club (in a good way of course) is starting to emerge.

Waking up this morning hearing that Colin Sylvia will be fined by his club for drunken abuse on his teenage girlfriend.

Shannon Grant has been fined by his club and faces on-going counselling after turning up to training under the influence of alcohol.

Just recently Beau Dowler was involved in an accident, by himself of course, colliding into a tree, totally irresponsible if you ask me.

Oh, and that Brodie Holland saga 'I totally forgot to update my WA licence to Victorian'.

I have probably missed out a few more players from other clubs that have gained media recognition or should I say have been on the wrong end of the law or misconduct by their club.

Is the RFC developing a clean cut culture at the club, I really think they are. My guess is that the 'Schulz Incident' has really hit home, for the time being of course.

Has TW really stamped a 'father figure' influence on all the players?

Well, for the time being it's good to wake up in the morning listening about oppostion players stuffing up, but abusing the opposite sex under the influence of alcohol is a real no-no. >:(
