PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

There were several whipping boys last season and some still cop heaps now the season is over.

It's a whole new ballgame now. Hopefully the entire team is working hard to improve, building on their strengths and improving their deficiencies.

I don't see any point continually criticising players for their past. We all know the team overall has been crap for a long time but there are some really good signs of better things to come.

If things start going well confidence and self-belief can do wonders for some players we felt could have done better.

Here's hoping that next year the positives outweigh any negatives and any time the Tiges run out there is a committed team effort from all 22 players.

I certainly hope a few shut their detractors up a la Joel. Remember when he was the whipping boy for certain people here? ;)

Here's to 2006. The year of the Tiger. Eat 'Em Alive boys.
