CMT - How could you do that.

Last Year
Whilst you happen to sun it up in Tropical Paradise, I have the following:

Rain and Windy 11°C
Feels Like 11°C

Wind: From SSW at 43 km/h gusting to 68 km/h

Pressure: 997.3 mb.

Dew Point: 9°C

Visibility: 2.7 kilometers

Detailed forescast:

Windy with rain, heavy at times. Warmer. Morning high of 56F with temps falling to near 45F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph. Rainfall around a half an inch.

In other words the weather is crap!

Lucky there is no snow - though they are talking about it a little later tonight.

Well here in Copenhagen it's - 5 C. That's 5 below zero.

But in Finland today they say it was -30.

Saw an article on the news tonight about people in Moscow ( -35 ) taking an ice-bath (swimming in a lake where the icy surface had been cut away so they could get in!). They said the water may well have been 0 degrees but at least it was 35 degrees warmer than the air.

I just worked in the freezer and it was only -18C

And I have the luxury of walking out onto a lovely Melbourne morning ;D

Most days up here are high thirties with plenty in the 40's. That's torture to me NY. Send a cool breeze over please. ;D

There is plenty of wind here Rose (probably due to Donald Trump opening his mouth) - gusts up to 60kph... Nearly got blown off my feet. With the rain going sideways, that makes for a crap day.. Reminds me of the weather duing that Hawthorn game mentioned in another thread.

Having been to New York City, give me what ever weather comes with it. That place is just AWESOME. I would love to live there and experience every season they go through. when I was there it was autumn (fall) and a nice mid 20's every day.

I would prefer 11c over 41c any day of my life.

new york, it might settle you abit to know (which im sure you already do) that when june/july comes around the shoe gets on the other foot  ;)

I love NYC - best city in the world. There is no doubt that it can get cold there, but I found the humidity around September to be brutal.

Hey NYT, watched that Donald Trump show (The Apprentice) last night, he sure is a king sized jerkoff but New York seems the place to be ...well maybe only Manhattan.

...and thanks Rosy for the news box. You could have left my name out of it though, I would have had a chance to blame that one on Gustiger ;)

If a country bumpkin like yourself can't handle Bangkok, I'm not so sure the Big Apple is your cup of tea. You just continue to hang out in the sleepy hollow that is Chiang Mai ;).

(looking forward to coming up to visit soon :)).

NYC is a good city no doubt. Personally, I like my cities a little more European. For 9 months of the year the weather is great, but winter's here can be terrible. We are waiting for the annual Blizzard to hit - a foot a snow in one day.. Great to go to work to...

The winter's in Melbourne a never as bad as the winter's here. Besides, when the cold weather comes in Melbourne, you know you will see Yellow and Black at the 'G.

Jerkoff, that's appropriate, and I've never heard applied to him before. Can I use it?  He's just a shameless self-promoter, but it is so appropriate for this city.  The show's fun to watch, and all of them are still working for "The Trump Organisation" at some level.
