There is a new term I've heard floating around called "Coach sackers".

This term describes a player who has immense talent but doesnt match it with application.

This got me thinking. Who at Richmond do we have that fits this category??

Do we have any? I cant think of any myself. The only one I could think of is J Bowden but he has certainly improved over the last 3-4 yrs.

P.S. Message to Darksiders. Dont get on here and say Tivendale, Krakouer etc.

The player has to have "immense" talent!!

DG, Ill sit on the fence for this one due to being 3 weeks out from the start of hopefully an exciting year for RFC so i wont name names, however this would be perhaps easy to respond to at seasons end but im sure others will feel compelled to give their thoughts.

Bit hard to know if they had immense talent if they were sacked before we saw them play much footy

richo

*ducks for cover*

im serious though. danny frawley based his entire game plan on kicking it to richo and richo only. in this case though it was the coaches fault, not the players

I was wanting to sit on the fence but LaB maybe i haven't read this correctly and if so ill apologise but im just going by Diggler's post about players and applying themselves, and then ive read ur post, id have to say that you have got to be kidding if u really think Richo fits that bill, he applies himself like a mad man at times perhaps a little to much so id have to disagree with you and give a big thumbs up to a champion of our great club and a member of the RFC team of the century.

Brennan from Brisbane is a potential 'coach sacker' type in the style you speak of.
Others with potential in the same field: B Ottens, S Johnson, N Davis.

Nick Daffy -

Not so much from his "immese" ability, but for his selfish attitude & unaccountable football.

Also most importantly was a leader in a cliche of players who's personal performance was more important than team results......

I reckon Beck rues the day he picked Fiona ahead of Pav....

The team that really should be spewing over Pavlich is the Crows, they had the choice of him or Mcgregor the previous year.Crows players at the time rated Pav very highly,Riccuto said best in SA since Blight,I think it came down to big bum syndrome ,so they didnt make the mistake twice with Rutten

Oddly enough Evo it was mentioned on SEN this morning Freo would have taken Fiona ahead of Pav if they kept pick #3 :o ;D
