It was a CRAP game from Coburg. Geeze, it was
a lesson in how to NOT take advantage of a ten goal
wind - ie going down the wings/flanks when you could
have kicked goals from the centre easily!
Too much trying to pass it off via handball when just
kicking the bloody thing towards our end would have
been much better. When kicking with the breeze,
have someone over the back in case it gets picked
up by the wind and goes over the pack... when
kicking against it... you have to play in front - it'll
more than likely drop short... 9 year old spotter
even commented on this
When you tackle Moorcroft, you have to grab the little
bloke around the waste, not this half hearted stuff
fiddling around with his jumper - opps sorry - no one
thought it'd be worth tackling him for most of the time.
At one stage, Moorcroft and Poyas (yes Ezra) seemed
to be just roaming around doing whatever they
wanted. Ezra hasn't really changed much.
Anyway, Dunc got through OK - and he kicked another
point
Dragga, hmm I don't know, have to see Damo's stats,
but he seemed slightly disinterested from where we
stand and watch (behind Coburg's gaols - so it was
up the other end a real lot!).
Marty kicked a couple against the wind - one from
a mark one a free kick. The only multiple goaler
from Coburg.
Enthusiasum seemed to completely die for most
players in the last quarter - Wazza (Warren Carlyle)
tried hard tho, as well as a handfull of others.
Did note that there were instructions to 'tag' Duncan,
grab Marty's jumper (to stop is leap) and to take
Dragga out of the action. (Spies in the huddles).
The Umpires were very inconsistent.
Also, the Duck (Nick Daffy) was there, sitting with
Richo and Campbo and quite a few other RFC players
