After watching last night's game it was obvious to me that the groin problem is definitely back :'(. He would not kick the ball on the run, and if he had to kick the ball more than about 30m he would swing wide and kick it on his left foot. In the last quarter he kicked to a 3 on 1 on the wing as this was the only Richmond player within 30m of him.

Should he be rested next week or will he continue as is through the season? His marking and attack on the ball are still good but I believe that we are carrying him at the moment. >:D

i had concerns for him in round 2 (WCE) but he did well in 4 and %. it might be form and a niggle. he's ther type to play with injuries and shrug them off.

He's a gun at his best though.

Cogs is fine and certainly earning his keep. I think people scrutinse him too much and speculate because of past injury concerns. The year he won the B&F he was a standout player without a lot of competition in the team. The workload is spread more now and we're a better team because of it. Mark is a very smart footballer.

He didn't look like he was struggling with any injury, he got plenty of the ball, the problem was his use of it. I have seen that you can never write this guy off.

unless you're a member of the medical staff it's speculation on your part. I doubt they'd be playing him if he wasn't fit.

Cogs has been good the past 3 weeks after an ordinary start by his standards..

One thing with Cogs, he plays very wide of his man. They say hi at the first bounce and meet up at the end of the game. His is no Robinson Cursoe in this area but Cogs must improve and be more accountable.
