Cogs playing today.

Did you see the game?
I'm not saying he has to be super quick.....I'm saying he needs to work on his speed to get back to where he was. If next year Cogs is travelling at the same pace as Saturday he'll be a liability in an AFL match. I hope as much as anyone he gets back to the standards he set early on. On Saturday he looked slow. AFL is another speed level up from VFL & if he looked slow in VFL company, imagine how he'd look in AFL.

Yes I saw the game and I wouldn't expect Cogs to be at the speed he was before his run of injuries. If that's what you were expecting then of course you are disappointed. Cogs will have a pre-season and hopefully be injury free. He will improve his speed and stamina I'm sure but once again he was never a quick player. His skill was his ability to get the hard ball and read the play. The speed of Coughlan is less of an issue for Cogs than it would be for most players. Quality players pick up on the tempo quite easily. Cogs will be fine next year as long as he remains injury free from this point forward.
