Despite his documented difficiencies I'm not sure that there is a player that epitomises the true spirit of Tigerland better than this bloke and no wonder we kept him. Not only has he had the groin problems (and forced to play during that time whilst obviously in severe pain!) but now he has had a knee reco. Fair dinkum this guy deserves a break and some people on here have the hide to call him a dud. Turn it up for crying out loud. Before he did his knee last year he seemed to be in pretty good form but I still think he was struggling (which speaks volumes about his courage) he was very gaunt looking in the face. Ok, granted his disposal at times is ordinary but with a well deserved clean bill of health I think this guy can recapture his early form. May the injury gods smile on you from here on in Coga because you deserve a good run!

I love Cogs. i wouldn't take anything under two first rounders for him.

maybe the knee is ablessing in disguise because he will have to rest that groin and those ankles now. Hopefully when his knee recovers his other problems will be long gone. This isn't my area of knowledge though...i'm just hoping.

Two great posts.
We need more players like Cogs who play as passionately for the team and jumper. Not less players with these qualities.

I remember watching a game on TV when we played Adelaide over there a feew years ago. There was this black and yellow blur entering from right side of screen to bump an Adelaide bees player. Yep it was Cogs.
The same game produced a brilliant and desperate mid-air smother, Cogs again of course.
The man is a champ, the footy player is the type that we need more of.
Go Cogs. :cupgold :gotigers

One of my favorite alltime Richmond players, has the heart and guts and he is probably the only decent tackler we have on the list. Hope he gets over his injuries quickly and shuts some people up.

Would love to see Cogs back to his best, because geez the boy can play.  But I'm concerned.

Geez hop, I'm sick of your constant sooking and negativity.
