4. Andrew McLeod
Should have got him when Freo traded him

If we had of gotten his father back when he played he could have gone father son

If I was 10 cm taller, 15 kg heavier, could run faster, had better endurance, was 20 years younger, knew how to play footy.....you could have had me!

the day we lost northey was a bad one

we have never improved

Funny you say that...I was talking about this today at work.

In 1995, even with Richo out for most of the season.....we worked hard, never gave up, tackled in packs....you only need to watch the old 'Fighting Fury - review of 1995' video to see the difference between then, and today.

The gameplan was bang it long to Gale, Richo, Edwards/Jurica....have a couple of crumbers down at their feet (Daffy and Naish)....and work hard in defence with Kellaway, Tape, M.Gale, Turner, etc.
No mucking around going sideways, tiny 1-metre handpasses backwards or anything.

As soon as Northey left....and we got that tool called Walls....that was it.

People blame the Frawley era for the predicament we are in...but the seed was sown back in 1996 when Walls inherited the young kids we had then, and destroyed them.

I hate all those blokes. Wouldn't hate them as much if they donned the yellow and black.

As much as I want TW and co. to succeed with our great club, I despise the way they are being made to play. When will they be allowed to just play and enjoy their footy...we might see a bit of spirit and bonding then too.

Same here....Lids is a perfect example of that, where in his first season, he was able to take on players, and show his natural ability.
Last year, it was Rainesy's first full season playing....and he was similar.

But both now, having been in "the system" for a while, are getting held back, with gameplans and overuse of the ball.

Let'em play Terry....take players on and bang it LONG and QUICK...give the bloody forwards a chance!
