Colin Wiseby gives his real draft preferences

HOTROD:

Wiz, can you put these in your selection order please

- Potatoe Cake
- Fried Dim Sim
- Steamed Dim Sim
- Scollop
- Calamari Ring
- Hamburger In Batter
- Sausage In Batter
- Spring Roll
- Chicko Roll
- Pickled Onion
- Chicken Nugget

Obviously Flake is the standout #1 pick & Minimum Chips is the experts pick to go at #2.
I'm very interested to see wot you'd take at #5 though.

Colin Wisbey:

Sorry for sounding crabby but I wouldn't pick any of them

They certainly aren't flaky but I prefer more mussel.

> Potatoe Cake - Soft as batter

> Fried Dim Sim - Tough but no good in the guts

> Steamed Dim Sim - Too soft. Batter is better.

> Scollop - Slippery but temperamental. Goes off for no reason. Can give you run out of the back end all day if left outside.

> Calamari - Interesting choice. Would run rings around Scollop.

> Hamburger In Batter - Good inside and even batter outside.

> Sausage In Batter - Poor form but at least he goes in.

> Spring Roll - Can fill a hole but is too light. Better at waist level than Chicko Roll but you wouldn't want to have to rely on him for a feed.

> Chicko Roll - Gives you something extra around the flanks but I wouldn't pick him. Too unpredictable. I can never work out what's got into him.

> Pickled Onion - Too raw. Skinfolds stink. Needs it wet. Doesn't help your chances of scoring.

> Chicken Nugget - Too small. Courage query. I don't mind him when he has a dip.

I disagree with his opinion of potatoe cake. I can understand that people think he is as soft as batter at first glance. But I think he tends to harden up as the heat is applied.

I don't think dims sims would be welcome down at Geelong, to many cats would go missing.

I must say that this choice is open to clear criticism.

Potato Cake - impressive on the outside, a bit thin on the inside.
Fried Dim Sim - has a tough exterior.
Steamed Dim Sim - falls apart under pressure.
Scallop - inadequate on its own, needs assistance.
Calamari Ring - always running in circles.
Hamburger In Batter - far too heavy for AFL.
Sausage In Batter - same.
Spring Roll - good in the first quarter, insufficient to see out a full game.
Chicko Roll - always running out from the back end.
Pickled Onion - always good in the mix.
Chicken Nugget - same as Potato Cake

I tried!  ;)

I heard around the traps that Miller is keeping a draftee under wraps for next years draft. He is said to be quite hot but nobody really knows what he is made of.

It is expected he will be taken between picks 4 and 20 ;)
That is very bloody clever GOPR and speaking of Calamri cant get better then the Calamari served at a CLUB80 function ;D

Yes, but what is your opinion on Fried Cheese?

Leaving aside the pie puns- ;D, that's what GM wanted to do with Dempsey in 2005 (just change 20 to 24- or four and twenty if you prefer -or even nought and forty).
