Just cos someones big dont make em tough LTRTR.

In fact i was always taught if in such a situation to smack the biggest one or the big mouth first, and i tell ya it never failed when i was growing up.  :hihi

Fair enough craig, though one witness said this bloke was walking around with his shirt off looking for a fight and gave the appearance of being off his nut on drugs or "'roid rage".

Last year a bunch of idiot collingwood suppoters tipped over a hotdog van outside the ground after a loss.
The AFL needs to step in. At half time they should wheel these guys out and let the lions loose.

The father of N. Jones (melbourne) was bashed after the game by 3 collingwood supporters and was hospitalised, the 3 mugs were arrested after the inncident. with behaviour like this it's no wonder that the pies supporters have the worst reputation in the league and should stop b!tching otherwise. FOR SHAME

Makes me laugh when a Richmond supporter spits from the top deck, the media can't stop talking about it.

I bet you this gets swept under the carpet quickly.

Some posts have been deleted from this thread. It's not acceptable on this forum to incite physical violence against others.

This one will be interesting. It was his girlfiend who got assaulted wasn't it. Someone was just saying on another thread how the AFL was softening the game to cater for the female market.......

Lets see how Mr Hiprocrite himself McChins handles this one.

Will probably get banned for life, however on the other hand if it was one of their players they would get the best lawyer money could buy and claim self defence.

According to The Age Adelaide have suspended him indefinitely.

apparently he is pretty much put his hand up and admitted guilt. Hopefully a good sign, and that he's not gunna fall back on the tried and true "I was drunk and she provoked me, and I regret my actions and any harm she may have suffered".

Crows are a classy organization, they will act appropriately.

If a Collingwood all-Australian player was involved in a bar fight McGuire strategy would have been deny, then blame it on journalists, then Cousins, then comment that Rex Hunt is going to take on the Richmond coaching role

after reminding everyone what he has achieved since becoming president

This violence summit is hogwash, there is one common factor in all this, Collingwood.

The club needs to take a stand, need to take action and be held accountable.

Let's be honest. Every club has a feral element among its supporters and every club has copped this kind of crap at one stage or another. I don't condone any form of violence or anti-social behaviour at the footy, or anywhere else for that matter, but I can't see how a club can be condemned for the actions of a small group of individuals who behave so disgustingly. If someone robbed a bank and was wearing a Richmond beanie, would we have to answer for it? Let the police and the courts do their job and mete out justice to them as individuals. All that the AFL and the clubs can do is condemn such acts, beef up security, revoke memberships and impose bans. In fairness to Collingwood, at the outset they condemned what happened, they said they would impose a lifetime ban on these thugs, and they would revoke their memberships if they actually were members (apparently the one individual who has been charged and remanded in custody so far turned out not to be a Collingwood member according to their CEO).

apparently they have.

Eddie is in negotiations with the MCC and Justice Victoria to have the MCG become a remand facility for Collingwood home games. Eddie believes this will be a win-win situation:

1) it will ease the current over-crowding in our remand centre

2) the MCG will be guaranteed a sell-out at every home game

3) the crowd will be overwhelmingly Collingwood supporters

4) Didak always plays better in front of his mates
