Terry Wallace is, we have gone backwards in the past 2 seasons while Terry pockets $600,00 a year.
Wonder if Terry will take a pay cut at the end of the year ?
He made Gas take one at the start of the season ::)

Wallace is responsible for the missing generation? Also he will undoubtedly earn less than what he could earn if we made the finals.

Re: frawley is *smile*ed

The audacity of Frawley to comment on the Tiger performance tonight - it was his *smile* poor recruiting that has put us in this position - whilst he did not start the rot 26 years ago - he certainly gave it a hand along for 5 years.

I had to turn the sound off and watch the game in silence - my 4yo son came up and hugged me at the end and said "Don't worry Dad I still love you."

I wish those that have power within the RFC still loved their members too..............

Re: It's a shame Rex wasn't commentating tonight

Opening bounce.

We lacked spirit from the start.

I wonder at what point the Fat Lady would have sung? :)

I would have been listening just for what he had to say about our performance. Hair standing on the back of your neck stuff I reckon.

Expert Commentators

Watching the game was dreadful, but listening to the "expert" commentators including Dud Frawley was worse.

Simmonds and Schulz where gone for virtually the whole game and not mentioned by the "Experts" once.

We couldn't get the ball at all out of the centre but losing these two made a big difference to team structure, with Polak, Richo and Tuck having to take over in the ruck and try to play there own position. Plus the fact that Geelong could run hard all night and we where 2 down on the bench. Wouldn't have change the final result but could have made a big difference to the margin.

Still not mentioned anywhere that I have read

Re: Expert Commentators

So Patto might have to come in? Maybe they will elevate Angus to take over where Simmo was to give him a go?

I am sort of glad we play away for the next 2 games. What do I mean sort of, I AM glad we play away for the next 2 games.

I suppose it won't be long until we will have an all-star commentating team of Frawley, Walls and Wallace (special comments by KB). How difficult would this be to listen to? :doh

As much as I hate Frawley there comes a time we won't be able to blame him for everything that is happening now.

Yes he left our list in tatters but that was 2 1/2 years ago.

Yes we are still recovering from that, but Geez if Our Staff today don't start accepting responsibilty themselves then theres something wrong.

The recruiting of all these skinny athletic types has happened in the last 3 years, wheres the Natural footballers we so desperately need as well.

Todays Staff need to accept its not all Danny who have caused this.

was listening to sen after the game

they had some guy called finey on. He kept on saying Wallace took over from Gieshen.

SEN isn't all that great either

I dont mind SEN but after last night I wanted to ring Huddo's little neck.
He was such a patronising smug little so and so.
He doesn't like Richmond, loves the Cats and is a complete knob.

The game had one highlight for me.
A Richmond Member sitting behind me was vocal and commentating about the umpiring,

After Geelong had received 5 frees on the trot we were finally rewarded with a free when Cleve had his neck ripped off.

So all the people around me were waiting for our "commentator" to say something. What would he say? We've just receive a free so he can't complain can he?

Then he erupted:

"Doncha hate the obvious ones ump?"

Classic.

SEN Rating

Asked whether they thought the Richmond side was going anywhere I think Tony (Schiabecci??) Was asked who he rated! This was in reference to the loss and was rumours we had tanked due to the treatment of GAS.

Foley, Lids, Hughes all got a tick as future players, put down Lids as having a bad day obviously but he will be a star.
Tambling, Polo, Patto, Polak, Meyer and McGuane all got question marks especially as the fab 5 were supposed to resurrect our club.
JON and Moore recieved a BIG question mark and even they were saying they wont likely make it as AFL players!!!!

He basically blamed our position to bad recruiting and pretty much we had not selected well at all!!

Re: SEN Rating

Is he talking from the team that played yesterday at the Dome, cause Polo was in the Ressies. ??!! And Patto didn't play?!

Re: SEN Rating

Gee, how big of him, writing off a few kids when they've played less than 10 games ::)

What an AFL guru he is...

Talking bout mainly our youngsters vcoming thru and where they rated them.
Noone obviously rates our list and why would they and it just shows how much our youngster have either dropped off or lost motivation.
