Sacred Heart Mission Community Cup 2007
Charity Australian Rules Footy at its Best
The Sacred Heart Mission Community Cup XIV
On Sunday 24 June, the historic Junction Oval come alive as The Espy Rock Dogs take on
their old rivals, the 3RRR/PBS Megahertz in Melbourne’s best example of charity Australian
Rules football, the Sacred Heart Mission Community Cup XIV.
Over the past fourteen years, the Sacred Heart Mission Community Cup has come to
embody the spirit of grass-roots football in Melbourne, bringing the community together in
a truly unique celebration.
The event hopes to raise over $70,000 for Sacred Heart Mission, which provides vital
assistance to people who are homeless or living in poverty. In addition to attending to
immediate needs such as food, shelter and clothing, the Mission provides long term support
to help people get back on their feet… permanently.
In addition to the on-field talent, we are proud to announce the off-field entertainment:
• Mach Pelican (Half Time)
• Bob Log (National Anthem) - the first international artist at the Cup!
PRE-GAME
• The RocKwiz Orchestra (with special guests)
