Comparing Cooney with Deledio (all season)

While I wasn't following the dogs much, the few games I saw demonstrated that Cooney had a major impact, again and again. Deledio for all his quality isn't there, and in fact isn't really anywhere near there.

Agree with the first part. I saw a few Bulldogs games and Cooney was quite brilliant. Was 4th fav iin Brownlow odds so wasnt as much as a shock as some make out especially considering Ablett missed 4 to injury. Arguably Ablett should have won (no votes in last game?) but that would have meant Cooney finished 2nd, still a fantastic effort.

Disagree with Deledio. Deledio had alot of impact this year. He often got the Tigers going and was instrumental in many Richmond's games this year. Deledio is all class maybe not quite as hard as Cooney but better skills and much better in the air. Deledio will keep improving, we have a definite Brownlow medal chance here.

And Cotchin? Early days but he's going to be even better than Deledio in my opinion.

Yeah but Cooney didn't show this consistently until this year. Lids is playing better than him at the same age.
