PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

The ladder at the end of the 2004 season was Pies 13th, Dogs 14th, Hawks 15th & Tigers 16th (last).
The Hawks are flying and on top of the 2008 AFL ladder, the Dogs are third and the Pies are seventh on the ladder.
All 3 teams look certain to be playing finals footy.
Im not interested in excuses, we lost by so much & we could have won. Im just going by where we are on the ladder and how dedicated our players are in playing for our club.
Whilst we are playing to no game plan, the match committee continues to select players that arent upto it and our youngsters have to play at least 5 years in the Coburg creche before we find out theyre not good enough and we delist them.
Where are we going as a club?
We tank and we dont achieve anything out of the draft as we keep recruiting players that arent upto it (McMahon, Polak) and putting them on loooong contracts.
One of the AFLs best players Judd doesnt want to come anywhere near us as he doesnt consider us a professional outfit.
We select undersized flankers at draft time year in year out and we just dont learn from our mistakes.
Walla$e and Miller must be held accountable for all the *smile* ups in recruiting players to our club and where our club is at the moment and at years end or sooner on current performances both must go.
