Im gonna be serious for a second....
In 2001 everyone all but handed the flag to the bombers after their incredible year in 2000 but the Brispain Liars rained on their parade.
I reckon that there was de=ja= vu last year with the kitty_hawks got the better of the felines despite being under-dogs.Kinda takes me back to 1972 when that cursed team done us in the granny despite the mighty tiges being the FAR superior team that year.Dont get me wrong,I reckon Hawthorn were awesome and it was a great game with 2 victorian teams havin a whack at it(the way it should be)but there is a lot to be said for the mindset of teams who are obvious frontrunners......Ireckon that geelong,s loss is gonna set em back another 50 years cause that,s the culture down there. What do yas reckon fellow ferals?

Dunno nitrous.  I suspect Geelong will play like a team possessed this year and not rest until they have the flag.  They'll hate losing with a passion.  I'm hoping an intense focus on winning will detract from their performance and they'll have a bomb out season...but I wouldn't bet on it just the same.

Im with you Rosy , i recon there gunna smash a few teams this year. They played there worst game in 3 years against the hawks. Dont think the hawks will get within 5 goals of the cats this year! We however ? ;D

I agree, I expect Geelong to be the most formidable force in the league this year, by a fair margin. They choked on the most important day last year, sure, but they are still the best team running around by a country mile for mine.
