for those intrepid statistions and analyzers this thread is for those who wish to compare our list against those of other clubs player by player. hopefuly by the time this thread is finished we all will have a good idea were we are in the pecking order of things and which areas we need to adress. i know there have been threads on our deficiencies but this thread will look at the whole picture.

e.g. richmond vs hawthorn

everitt - symonds


everitt- great tap ruckman, great mark, great leader, very mobile, good kick
for goal, probably has two good years left in him.
symonds-great tap ruckman, average mark, average kick for goal, very mobile and
has five good years left in him.


everitt 8.5/10

symonds6.5/10


while everitt leads symonds in this comparison symonds is more value to us as he will be still around in three years time when we will be serious about the finals.

I thought Symonds, when on song, will rate much higher than Everitt. Overall though, Symonds would be better in both forms....Test and One Dayers

i downgraded symonds (troy) based on his form this year due to his average contested marking and average kicking for goals, his other abilities are very good .
but feel free to discuss my assesments.

Although every time I watch Richo do something really dumb I remind myself of Quinten Lynch. Seems smart by comparison. :hihi
