Gee, it is so amazing what a bit of confidence does. The likes of Raines,Hyde, Pettifer, Simmonds just to name a few have really come on under the coaching structure this especially this year. Bloody great to see after what could of been a demoralising start to the year with two hundred point thrashings and all the press of "yer, he we go again with the RFC". Well not any more, sure we might suffer a few more heavy defeats but with the kids we have got, that might be right but that light at the end of the tunnel is shinning brighter and brighter for the RFC.

Credit to TW and the coaching staff for not waivering in their future plan for this club and to the boys at the club for not dropping their bundle after such heavy defeats. Something that we as supporters have not seen in such a long time.

There is something in the boys eyes now, I havent seen in years, it is belief and confidence in their teammates and the knowledge that the mighty tigers are finally on the right track and moving forward, creating their own history and not looking back to what has been.

Call me silly, but for once in a very, very long time I feel that the wheels are turning in the right direction, the army is on the march and the Tigers are coming. I'm not expecting finals this year myself but at least that light is getting brighter, finally there is hope and with that brings confidence.

Great post Tuby.
The marked improvement this season of PRE "whipping boys" Petiffer, Krakouer, Hyde and Tivendale is a true testament of what you say.
Confidence is indeed a wonderful thing.

Agree Tuby, I feel there is growing confidence in the tigers, and it is encouraging to see the younger players in Tambling, Polo, Raines, Meyer etc making huge impacts in the team's win. But I think it is those players around the age 22-25 like Karakouer, Pettifer ( wow, I did not think he had it in him what he's doing), Hyde, Newman etc that are making their mark and they needed to. Hopefully this is a stepping stone to great years ahead for the tigers and finals consistency that we tiger fans crave.

Loved hearing Petts say in his post match interview yesterday "This club is going places".

Warms the heart hearing stuff like that.
