PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

As president of Dan i have been very quiet over the pre-season.......i have been a massive fan of jackos but thought it was best to let his football do the talking for him! After lasts nights performance i am more than happy to say i think we may have unearthed another exciting prospect! Dan on the lead looked excellent....super quick and runs dead straight...a perfect foil. He has nice hands and a lovely kick - although will still need to improve over a long distance.

The good thing about jacko is that he has versatility ...can play down back...can run through the middle...and as we saw last night looks like a natural forward. He also adds a bit of grunt as well, as we all observed in that two on one contest where he colided with the saints player.

With the focus post game being on the injuries of Will and Jay - and rightly so - i think we need to be positive because we have seen a couple of kids take opportunities and play good football - i speak of raines, deledio, Will (i know i know) and now Jacko! With the exciting prospect of McGauane, Cleve Hughes, JON, Danny Meyer, Patto, Polo, Moore and Limbach all getting games - this year we have a chance to watch them become players and create a successful future at tigerland and to me win, lose or draw - that is more exciting than anything!! Good luck boys!

Congratulations Dan Jackson....keep it up!!
