PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Last week a few mates and I went to the fans training night. Afterwards we had a few beers at the Corner. Anyway I left my 3 mates to it and went home early(ish). When I got into work on Monday I was greeted with the news that one of my mates had been hit by a train that Fri night and was in a bad way in an induced coma.
Some of you will know him from the PRE v Saintsational game that we played recently.
It is too early to tell yet if he will suffer any permanent damage, but so far all the signs are positive that he may recover.

A fellow workmate contacted the RFC and explained what had happened and that my mate was a gold member and passionate fan. A few calls were exchanged (lucy? was the point of contact) and dale Weightman has taken on the case as his own. There are plans for some Tiger memoriabilia to be placed in his room and for some player visits when he recovers.
So thank you to the RFC for being so supportive of one of our own when the chips are down. :clap :clap :clap

And heres to a fellow Tiger fan and a good mate, for a speedy recovery. :beer
