Not really a forum discussion topic, but just my two cents to congratulate Neil Craig on his sportsmanship and genuine comments after Saturdays game. I really do dislike the crows, but Craig has a sense of distinguished class about him....

I like Neil Craig - I have the belief his coaching methods are futuristic and hence he is before his time. He has an enormous ability to get and keep his players fit plus read the game.  He obviously has a number of game plans which his players are instructed to switch on and off during a game - he openly admitted he did not have a game plan to combat Terry's strategy. Bet he does next time we play them!

I prefer the Crow to that arrogant Port Adelaide mob - isn't it great to see them and their coach squirming on the bottom where the slugs belong

Neil Craig although a Crow coach is a extremely professional man/coach. From interviews ive seen of him, he is up front and does give credit where credit is due - not like some other coaches currently in the AFL.... ;)

Smart, too. By shutting his mouth (except to display good sportsmanship) he gives no further ammunition to the opposition.

Mr Sheedy, on the other hand, is already looking towards a rematch with the Tigers and has handed TW adn the boys all the motivation they could ever need.

Agreed - very non-defensive in interviews, can acknowledge his mistakes-quite remarkable really compared to some of the tripe you have to endure from the likes of Laidley and Clarkson.

Top marks to Wayne Craig. Very fair - instead of blaming the "ugly", he picks himself up and starts planning for next time. You get the sense he thinks we did the Crows a favour by highlighting a weakness.

Crows will do well this year under Craig.

a breath of fresh air to see a coach be honest in his apraisal and gratious in defeat.
unlike some of the vinegar mouthed coaches who whinge and moan when they lose.

Gave credit where credit is due unlike that senile old fart coaching the bummbers. Is that man desparate or what.

I hope they dont win another game for the whole year those red a black tossbags.

Let's hope we give them a real spanking in round 21 and not let them off so lightly like we did in rd6.

Agree. Craig deserves :clap

The Pies played a possession game too (177 marks) but strangely the media aren't questioning them. Seems to be a lot of that lately. :blah

Neil Craig is a real gentleman and a great coach - has done wonders with Adelaide considering where they were under Ayres.

Have never seen him put a foot wrong off the field and if he makes a coaching error, he cops it squarely on the chin. Very refreshing to see a man of his character involved at the top level and succeeding.

Didn't think much of him when they announced him as coach. I thought 'who the hell is this'. I have warmed to him and his honesty. IMO he is a unique crows coach....he's the only one I've liked ;D
