Exactly right, or though in Connors case he has to work to deserve it. Frawley did this with Coughlan, and it set him up to really break out and become, at the time, a very good AFL player. About the only thing Spud did right.

We also need to make sure he is fully fit to make a proper assessment. Not sure that he is match ready yet.

We have to remember that when Connors was drafted, we thought we got a bargain because he really slid in the draft. The fact is, he slid for a reason. In that draft he was considered talented enough to go early second round but fell to late thrid. These days talent means virtually nothing without the desire and right attitude.

Polo was drafted 2 years earlier.
