Im still sppewin over the insipid and lame duck response to the garlic series by those irish galahs....
Now I know Fev is Fev...and a few were ready to whack into him after what allegedly happened over there.
Now it turns out that the authorities come to the conclusion that there was no need to pursue any further charges against Fev....
Well,bugger me........I thought they were gonna throw the book at him........a country that let Trimbole slip through their over-buttered fingers at the ease of another Tarrant spilled mark........
So,this barman probably had embellished the story just a tad ya reckon?Where,s his gob now?

very good replies,but I think you missed my purpose of my post....
This was not meant to be an advocacy for fev comin to the club....Just sticking up for him in light of what happened over there.....the fact that the Irish police didnt press ffor further charges proves that the little Irish barman was embellishing the truth quite a bit...I reckon that the police over there did their best to find something that would stick....and found nothing.....
God forbid me...I would even stick up for tarrant or gardiner if they were in this position.....
I know fevs not perfect,but he is an example of a footballer getytin 3 days of headlines,because.....he,s a footballer......

Dunno nitrous. Assuming quotes in the paper are accurate it seems Fevola behaved like a prize idiot. He admitted he did what he was accused of, and to his credit, apologised accordingly. I've got no time for anyone who uses their physical strength to threaten or intimidate another person. I'd call him a goose but that's an insult to geese.

I'd say the fact he wasn't charged was more credit to the Irish for not taking it any further. They are quoted as saying Fev avoided charges because of his previous good character.

Agree about the media circus though. They do tend to have a feeding frenzy on any players, other than Wobblers of course, who step out of line and no doubt embelish the stories to sell their papers.
