I want him trying to kick into our forward line. He doesn't have enough run to create off half back for mine.

Looks scared of body contact to date. Another bust. Should have taken Weller

100% disagree. Reckon Corey will become an integral part of our midfield, getting 25+ possies and 4 goal assists a game.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

I like Corey. My only concern is his susceptibility to injury and those injuries are over use type injuries like the top of foot injury he had and the possible osteo pubis or groin soreness he carried late. He may just have the type of body that you cant put large work into. Then again as he matures he may gain that strength and durability.

Terrific decision maker and exquisite user.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Concerns around Corey for leysy. Not Lennon like in his early days, but still some worries about his game.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Menadue will be the best player of his year. Cory will take longer but I reckon 25/26 he'll be a very very good player.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Elliott Kavanagh part 2. Just dosent have the body to handle AFL

Agree and thats where I see him transitioning into the Grigg role and playing as that link man.

Should've taken Weller. Pace and kicks goals.

We get it wrong every year.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Must say I am worried about his size. Looks like he has not put on any muscle since Year 1. Needs a big preseason.

Got a good feeling about Corey as well K3.
Anyone with a body like this to hold him up will make it big time

Reminds of Thursfield and Grimes; we certainly can pick them. Or is it just lame strength and development programs?

I think its a bit of both. Cotchin and Jack have really slimmed down the last couple of years, so perhaps there is a greater emphasis on aerobic training over weights? We certainly look smaller than the majority of teams.

Exactly what I thought, or is it just that black is slimming! However, I must say that I felt we did run out many games better this year, if you exclude the last couple of non-events against GWS and Swans which were early write-offs as contests.

It's all about having that wonderful balance of size, power and strength along with great endurance and aerobic capacity that clubs try to achieve ... one way or another. Not sure we can achieve that, but maybe we're playing it straight.

If miss are going to become A grade, they make a huge leap by the end of the third year.

Big year ahead.

Doing well for himself the boy

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Can't see him being more than a serviceable player with current coach as he is being totally crucified by his position played on match days. Needs to be played away from traffic. Kid doesn't like the physical stuff which is not an issue as he can kick the ball and has smarts. Needs to be told to hang out the back, sides wherever and punish with his footy smarts.

From his Instagram account, it appears Corey is still a stick figure.

That's an insult to stick figures. Cellis has looked to have lost size since being drafted.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

I have concerns about this kid.

No mention of him as being a standout in the time trials. Needs a big year to justify his early selection.
