Corey "the slow boat to GC17" Ellis

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Wasn't the pre draft bio a tough, defensive minded, inside mid who uses the ball well?

At least I've seen him use the ball well (once or twice).... The rest? Not so much.

Possibly the softest, most scared player I have seen in a very long time.
Did you see Batchelor effort in the second quarter when he went to tap the ball forward , realised there was a Dees player close and pulled back- that was soft.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Very soft. But hopefully he will turn it around. Give him time.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Young and inexperienced player playing with senior players who make many errors .
Give him a break.
He looks a classy player to me.
He needs more games.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Will never make it at the RFC. Will only get worse. Another wasted draft pick. Another Conca without the Pasta Belly.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Looks like he is running in wet cement at the moment.

Moving like its round 20 not round 4.

I haven't written him off yet, but by jingo's he'd better toughen up and quickly. At the moment he's playing scared and it shows.

What was your criticism on him again?

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Ducked going for a mark in the second half with no Dee near him, goal to them.

Looked like he might cry in the melee and when the Dees came at Rance.

Just don't know what you can do about that....

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Now that Lennon is out the scrutiny falls to Cialis. (Scrutiny never falls upon Nick 'St Francis' Vlastuin.)

I'm a defender. Cialis fails at times but he gives. If he turns it up or can't lay a tackle he goes again.

One of his better games.
