Tried his heart out, would keep these type of players in ahead of those rubbish recycled players

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Agreed, kid has a beautiful kick but he looks upfield and has no options, no-one moving.

Thought he was pretty good tonight, brought a bit of composure and good delivery to the back half.

Watching the game live tonight and thought he was one of our best. Is at least improving.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

He played well tonight. Much improved and found his kicking again. His one on one work was much better

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

I said he was useless at 3/4 time but was probably our best in the last term, which admittedly wasn't that hard.

Hard marker. 23 disposals, 7 contested, 4 tackles, a goal assist not bad for a 19yo playing just his 12th AFL game. Was quite composed tonight, showed a few more experienced players out.

Also pulled out of a few contests again. A bit better I said.

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Liked his game, especially after last weeks career worst, liked the fact he worked hard to be an option numerous times in the first half, wasn't used anywhere near enough. Like a dropped torch in a bucket of *smile*, there's some light deep down

Re: Welcome to the RFC - Corey Ellis

Also went real hard at a few contests and won them. Gotta acknowledge both sides of that coin.

Amazing what a "block" of games can do for a kid rather than putting them in and dropping them after one bad game. Pity it's taken Dimna 7 years to work it out.

Token one of games at the end of the year can be OK, however if your coming in the first half of the season there's no doubt you should at least get a 4 week block too get the most out of it in your development
