It is absurd that it should be so difficult to get vaccinated.I was able to get a 1st Pfizer jab for my 16yr old Grandson today had to travel a bit but it was worth it. I also booked him (locally) for his 2nd in late October. This means he will be double vaxxed before the date of the original 1st dose that I had previously been able book.

We have had many many months to prepare for this..12 at the very least.
It should be possible to walk into a mass vax hub 24 hours in say half a dozen suburban locations around the city.
Just takes internet for electronic recording, staff to line them up, vaccinate, send home.
Could do tens of thousands every 24 hours. Supply dependent obviously .
It really is just like a flu vax and needs no special management .
We are doing much better but it is ridiculous that it is still so hard.
Note at the NRL game in Rockhampton people got vaxed as they came into the ground.
It s a race, really, to get vaccinated, out of lockdown and lose as few lives as possible in the process.
