I guess judging by the look on his face he’d score severe to very severe on the pain scale before he even hit the ground, so can’t argue with that logic.

Let me post a wild contrarian theory. An 85kg man crashing into you and then dragging you to the ground and causing you to give away a clear free kick is quite likely to give you a pained expression.

This seems to be an issue that won't go away however so I might reach out to a bloke I know at Geelong and ask the question.
