Whats the go? Who know if he's going to get a run befor the season proper? Who is our second ruck this year?

Coughlan won't be right for the start of the AFL season, knee surgery recently.
Looks like the secong ruck is between Graham & Browne, with Browne impressing in the last 2 weeks. Pattison not expected to play til about round 4 at the earliest. Hope that helps!

thanks for that. first time i have used this, not really sure how. Bugger with his knee, so much bad luck. Any idea of a return date?

Seems Pattison is going to be given a chance as a KPF as well, so don't expect to see him slotting back into the ruck.

Coughlan... :pullhair :frustration

The Ruck choices between Graham and Browne will be interesting to watch.

My view is Browne will go past Graham quite quickly - by season's end Browne should be ahead, but will the Rookie get enough game time to prove it?

Graham looks quite an athletic big man in warm ups, runs well with moderate agility, BUT he tires quickly, which usually means his skills will be tired as well. That showed up in the game tonight. If looks counted for anything (athletic looks), you'd pick Graham everyday. Has an awkward kicking action made worse with a high drop of the ball - he has a lot of practice to do.

Browne moves less athletically, but given he is so big (208?) it's not aweful. He is far more comfortable below his knees than Graham, already has the 1%ers worked out well (shepherds, ground punches to advantage, and seems to have a good safe set of hands. A footy just looks a bit more natural in his hands and coming off his boot. He tires after 5 minutes at elite level, but his skills hold up better. Seems to cope easily with the rough stuff - so necessary for boundry work.

Browne should be a better prospect for RFC.

The form of Browne is fantastic for the future but given his age and size I really wouldn't expect much from him this year. I'd still rather try Graham ahead of him and make a decision at the end of the year with Nahas to be the rookie that gets promoted.
