Coughlan?

Leave him at the Burgers for this year ;)
He will be better for the time there 7 hopefully be up & about next year.

I'd mothball him for 2009!
Nothing more to be gained by him playing at Coburg!
His next game must be for Richmond next year IMHO.
The gun goes back in the holster!

Would think that Cogs would want to get at least one senior level finals series under his belt as he has never played in one, and perhaps display his skills & leadership qualities before having a real crack for the 09 pre-season. :clap

He's been out for so long, I think he needs as many games as he can get, even at that level.

There's no way he's going to give it away when he's contracted for next year and has played more consecutive games of football in the last 2 months than any time in the last 2 years.

Just noticed that Deledio has now caught up to Cogs in games played.
Cogs has 5 years over Lids. Could have been so different if for not that game in Tas.

Well you could say that ("Could have been so different if for not that game in Tas") for any footballer that receives a major injury. Unfortunately that is the footballing gods and there is generally no logic or science, just fate. Imagine if that fateful day against Melbourne hadn't happened for Brownie!

Let him play the last game and smash the Dees, get his confidence up for next year and get him nice and hungry for 09. Anyone suggesting he will hang up the boots is nuts, why the hell would he fly all the way up to Germany and receive injections every day just to play 6 games for Coburg. Really have a think before you speak.
