Will glady put the hand up if not true, but person is 98% sure he ain't playing another AFL game for the Tigers. As others have said, time to move on and try and pluck one of our own kids and hope he can be half as good as Nathan.

So the club has had medical advice that he will never be capable of playing AFL footy again?

Is that what you are a suggesting?

is worse than a serious car crash. one of the worst suffered of any footballer. Damage unfortunately is not only the bone but mucsle, tendons and nerve. No matter how much he rests, the minute he plays a full game, the chances of a stress fracture are 95%. In other words, unless he wants major complications later in life, he won't be playing footy. Sad, but now is the time to give a youngster the opportunity to shine and perhaps become the next Nathan Brown.

Could have done anything in 2005 had he not broken down.

Given we were 7 and 3 at the time, who knows what the Tiges would have done had he not gone down?

FUD, do you know the facts you stated from personal knowledge or is it something you've read or been told?

No way NB will be playing. I think people on PRE are forgetting that NB has a stress fracture of his leg ;)
he does not have a stress fracture,he has a hot spot a few centimetres from where the original break was which could have led to a stress fracture if he kept playing on it.

*smile*.
Browny will be back in a few weeks I'd say.
For how long is the issue.. :-\

Be nice if he comes back firing but if he doesn't so what. He's not the future of the club. Should be traded to a team in the Premiership window for draft picks, simple as that. Follow the Manchester United model.

i went down to casey feilds and watched the intra club match he looked very good i think that if he was going to be a long term injury wallace would be the first to say so. so we could elevate another rookie :beer :bee

I wonder if Terry might be holding Browny back as a surprise inclusion for this game against the dogs. After all the crap thats been said, i for one would not be surprised. Add Edwards,King into the mix i think we could be in for a good night :gotigers

Nah dont think so.

It would have been announced if he was playing and subsequently swelled the attendance by another 5K.

it's a definite. Club is trying to come up with ways to soften the blow. Must move on and find a replacement. Hopefully we can stooge some club into trading!! Maybe the kangaroos??

Rosy please get rid of this imbecile. ::) ::) ::)

All I'll say is I got a message on my phone today saying, N.Brown - in.

Thats all...I wont brag about it if its true, but its got 0.001% chance of happening, but thats something.

I think that 0.001% is 0% - saw footage of Browny at training on Afl Teams - didnt look happy, and neither did Wallace. No chance this week, but he does seem desperate to play sooner rather than later.

Browny looked shattered!Look's pretty bad to me.Won't be seeing him for a long while.

I don't think that's right - Browny wouldn't have even been trying to prove his fitness if he wasn't close.

I hope your right wild!
